was asked for his reaction to Fred Jackson’s comments about being frustrated by not knowing his true role on the team. Spiller said Jackson has a right to voice his opinion, and also added that he’s not going to let anyone drive a wedge between Jackson and him. “From the outside, people outside are going to try to make me and him come up against each other, but that’s not going to happen,” said Spiller. ”We have a great friendship and I value that more than anything. So people outside are going to say what they want to say. I can’t control that. I just control what goes on (on the field).
