Gilchrist, who became the starter after Antoine Cason’s flameout two weeks ago against the Jets, had his own nightmare in the Chargers’ 45-38 loss to the undefeated Super Bowl champs at Qualcomm Stadium . He committed a pass interference penalty and was torched on two touchdown passes and a 64-yard reception by Jordy Nelson in the fourth quarter that set up another touchdown.
