Lawrence said team enjoyed New Orleans too much last year

Clemson defensive lineman Dexter Lawrence is all business for the upcoming College Football Playoff.

Lawrence told reporters during Tuesday's media day that Clemson had too much fun in preparation for the Sugar Bowl last season.

"We had a little too much fun in Louisiana last year," he shared about the Sugar Bowl. "We know we can't do that and we know there is a different mindset that we got to bring for this bowl game."

Lawrence knows this is a business trip this time around.

"We got all the time in the world in a different city, and everyone wants to explore, but at the end of the day, we are there for business and got to take care of our next goal and win these four quarters."
