LOOK: Clelin Ferrell thanks Army veteran by giving him Clemson jersey |
Clelin Ferrell and several of his former Clemson teammates spent a busy Saturday afternoon signing autographs at the Haywood Mall.
After the paid signing was finished, Ferrell was seen spending a few moments with an Army veteran and reportedly thanked him for his service by giving him a game-day used Clemson jersey. Ferrell will be one of many that will be remembered by Clemson for their contributions off the field as well as their accomplishments on the gridiron from this past season's National Championship team. Clelin Ferrell, 2x National Champion & future 1st Round NFL Draft pick, sought out a US Army Veteran to thank him for his service. Clelin gave him a game-used Military Appreciation Clemson Tigers #99 Jersey. A candid camera caught this genuine moment. An awesome moment. pic.twitter.com/C7JqnnExEZ
This is what Dabo means when he says it's not only his job to make great football players, but to make great men and role models. After signing countless autographs, @Cle_Missile sat down beside this veteran and gave him one of his purple jerseys. The world needs more of this! pic.twitter.com/oTUqTQGvjc
