High school to honor Demontez Stitt

Butler High school will honor alumni Demontez Still on Friday, Feb. 3 on their senior night as the school will raise his Clemson jersey to their rafters in honor of Stitt who died unexpectedly last July at the young age of 27.

Stitt is still the only men's basketball player in Clemson history to start on four NCAA tournament teams. He finished his career in the top 15 in several statistical categories, including sixth in assists (419), 10th in steals (164) and 14th in points (1,365).

It will be an emotional night as his younger brother Omega Stitt will also be honored during the same ceremony as he is a senior on the Bulldogs' team.
