Terrible news to report tonight.
Former Clemson running back Tyshon Dye has passed away. "All of our hearts are just broken," Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney said in a statement Friday. "Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. I can honestly say Tyshon Dye is one of the sweetest souls I've ever been associated with or coached. We're just all heartbroken tonight, and we're praying for his family and know that he's been called home." Dye drowned at Lake Russell in Russell B. State Park on Friday. Elbert county coroner Chuck Almond and the Elbert dive team recovered Dye's body at 5:54 pm at Russell B. State park. TigerNet would like to give out our most heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Tyshon Dye.
