by - Assoc. Editor -

Former Clemson signal-caller Charlie Whitehurst has been placed on the injured reserve by the Indianapolis Colts' on Monday.

Whitehurst has a pulled hamstring and will be among the walking wounded Colts' quarterbacks with Andrew Luck (lacerated kidney) and Matt Hasselbeck (sprained AC joint and right shoulder injury).

If you were wondering, the Colts have signed Stephen Morris from the Eagles' practice squad last week for more depth at the quarterback position.

Whitehurst was 16-of-32 passes for 150 yards and one interception this season in limited action.

The Colts (7-8) will play their last regular season game vs. the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, Jan. 3.
