A brand new year and a new beginning for one young football player.
Former Clemson offensive lineman Isaiah Battle has signed a reserve/future contract with the Carolina Panthers on Monday. Battle didn't play in 2018 and has been on three previous teams with the Seahawks, Chiefs, and Rams. Battle left Clemson early to go in the 2015 NFL supplemental draft (St. Louis Rams), was traded by the Kansas City Chiefs to the Seattle Seahawks for a 2018 conditional seventh-round pick. The 25-year old Brooklyn native, started 15-of-27 games played while with Clemson, posting 32 knockdowns in 1,336 snaps.
