The Jacksonville Jaguars announced they have signed veteran safety
Marcus Gilchrist to their active roster.
Gilchrist has played in 123 games over the last eight seasons, including all 16 regular-season contests over each of the previous two years with the Houston Texans and Oakland Raiders. He posted 58 tackles, with three interceptions in 2018 with the Raiders. For his 8-year NFL career, he has registered 482 tackles, 39 passes defended, 14 interceptions, five forced fumbles, and 4.0 sacks. During his playing days (2007-2010) at Clemson, he registered 191 tackles in 53 games.
