Former Clemson DB signs with Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars announced they have signed veteran safety Marcus Gilchrist to their active roster.

Gilchrist has played in 123 games over the last eight seasons, including all 16 regular-season contests over each of the previous two years with the Houston Texans and Oakland Raiders.

He posted 58 tackles, with three interceptions in 2018 with the Raiders.

For his 8-year NFL career, he has registered 482 tackles, 39 passes defended, 14 interceptions, five forced fumbles, and 4.0 sacks.

During his playing days (2007-2010) at Clemson, he registered 191 tackles in 53 games.
