Deshaun Watson wins SI.com's 2015 Heisman Poll

Clemson sophomore Deshaun Watson is the winner on Friday of SI.com's 2015 People's Heisman Poll.

Watson garnered 28,316 votes with 6,402 first-place votes while Stanford running back Christian McCaffrey finished second with 24,493 votes and the most second-place votes with 4,446.

Watson passed for 3,512 yards and 30 touchdowns while also rushing for 887 yards and 11 scores during his team's undefeated season.

He threw for 289 yards and three touchdowns and also ran for 131 yards and two scores to win the 2015 ACC Championship.

McCaffrey set the single-season all-purpose yardage record at Stanford with 3,496 yards.

Alabama running back Derrick Henry finished a distant third with 20,894 votes and the most third-place votes (4,368) of the three Heisman finalists.

Henry ran for an SEC single-season-record 1,986 yards rushing and 23 touchdowns.

The announcement of the Heisman Trophy award will be Saturday, December 12, live on ESPN at 8 PM EST.

2nd - Christian McCaffrey: 4,139 first-place votes, 4,446 second-place votes, 3,184 third-place votes: 24,493 points

3rd - Derrick Henry: 2,674 first place votes, 4,252 second-place votes, 4,368 third-place votes: 20,894 points
