Clemson's Death Valley was voted as the 7th (tied) toughest road environment for visiting teams in ESPN's poll of 99 FBS head coaches.

Death Valley received 4% of the vote while LSU's Tiger Stadium was voted #1 with 21% of the vote. Power 5 coaches voted Clemson second overall (tied) at 7% with Alabama, Oregon and Wisconsin.

35 schools received votes in the poll including New Mexico State, Northwest Missouri State, Pittsburg (Kansas) State, Montana, Tennessee State and North Dakota State.
