Clemson to play in Collegiate Rugby Championship

Clemson has qualified to play in the Collegiate Rugby Championship in Philadelphia, PA on May 30-31. It is a live nationally televised event with 20 major universities competing during the two-day Rugby 7's tournament at PPL park. PPL Park is home to the Philadelphia Union (MLS) and seats over 18,000 fans.

For Rugby newbies - matches only last about twenty minutes with lots of action. The Rugby Sevens will be back in the Olympics in 2016.

Clemson's game times for Saturday, May 30th:

10am - Clemson vs Life University, Field 2

Life was the 2013 Runner-up and 2014 Semi-finalist

1pm - Clemson vs Alabama, PPL Stadium

Alabama is the 2015 SEC Champ

6pm - Clemson vs Indiana, PPL Stadium – Live on NBCSN

Indiana is the 2015 BIG 10 Champ

*The tournament airs on three different NBC affiliated stations both Saturday and Sunday starting at 2pm – NBC, NBCSN and CSN (Comcast SportsNet). Sunday’s game times and broadcast schedule will depend upon Clemson's performance on Saturday.

*CSN will play tape delayed games Saturday evening.
