Clemson jumps up in latest Coaches Poll |
Clemson (4-0) jumped up six spots to a #6 ranking in the latest Coaches Poll on Sunday after the Tigers' defeated Notre Dame 24-22 in a hard-fought battle on Saturday night.
The Tigers were ranked #12 in the previous poll. ACC rival Florida State was ranked #8 after a 24-16 sloppy showing against Wake Forest as the Seminoles luckily intercepted a pass in the end-zone with 21 seconds to play to seal the win. The biggest risers in the poll were the Florida Gators who sky-rocketed up 11 spots to a ranking of #12 and Georgia had the biggest fall in the poll dropping ten spots to a 16th ranking.
