Clemson first baseman suffers fractured foot

by - Assoc. Editor -

Clemson first baseman Andrew Cox suffered a fractured foot in Saturday's game against Boston College. Cox was hit in the foot to lead off the 8th inning, and he moved to second on a passed ball. However, Cox was obviously limping and was replaced by pinch-runner.

Cox was batting .324 with 1 homerun and 9 RBIs on the season.
