was injured on Friday night on a huge sack by Saints' Kenny Vaccaro. It was the third snap of the game and the first time Whitehurst dropped back to pass.

The injury was on his right pinkie and Whitehurst said that the X-rays on it "are fine." He is listed day-to-day and should be ready to go in the next preseason game.
