That even meant trading up to the No.1 overall pick with the Houston Texans to make sure they got their guy. However, the Texans were not looking to trade the pick.

"We went with Houston right off the bat," Jim Monos (Director of Player Personnel) said in the Behind the Scenes of the Bills Draft video. "We tried to go to No. 1. They weren't having it. They knew who they wanted, so we started working our way right down."

Eventually, the Bills worked out a deal with the Cleveland Browns to swap first-round selections and also received the Bills' first and fourth round picks in 2015.
