Pairings Announced for Chick-fil-A Bowl Challenge

Greensboro, Ga. (April 24, 2012) – The Chick-fil-A Bowl today announced the official pairings for the sixth annual Chick-fil-A Bowl Challenge charity golf tournament. A 16-team field of NCAA head coaches and celebrity alumni will compete in a two-man scramble format over 18 holes, vying for a first-place prize of $125,000 in scholarship funds. All participating teams will receive a portion of the $520,000 total scholarship purse.

In the event’s largest field to date, featured groups include conference and state rivalry pairings, as well as teams that have competed or are set to compete in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game (Alabama vs. Virginia Tech – 2009 and 2013, NC State vs. Tennessee – 2012).
