Clemson's opponent this week took a hit for this week and beyond as redshirt sophomore Sage Surratt was ruled out for the season for Wake Forest after an injury last week.

Wake Forest coach Dave Clawson announced the news in his weekly press conference on Tuesday. Surratt was leading the ACC by almost 200 receiving yards (1,001) and also pacing the league in TDs (11).

Surratt did not play against Clemson as a freshman.

Wake's third-leading receiver will also be out for Saturday in senior Scotty Washington (35 catches/607 yards/7 TDs).
