Clemson blitzed Alabama 44-16 to win their second national title in three seasons.

ESPN commentator Kirk Herbstreit broke down the matchup after the game.

"Clemson better prepared and outplayed Alabama," he said in the following video. "Completely deserved and dominated the Alabama Crimson Tide. Who would have ever thought Alabama would have lost 44-16 in a national title game?"
