WATCH: Brian Dawkins' inspirational halftime speech

by - Assoc. Editor -

NFL Hall-of-Famer Brian Dawkins was the first former Clemson player inducted into the prestigious Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2018.

On Sunday during halftime of the Eagles-Panthers game, Dawkins received his Hall of Fame ring and addressed the crowd with some inspirational words about rising above struggles in your life.

"This is for everybody, this is a dream, this wasn't the dream that I had for myself, but because I pushed through some tough times in my life, I'm blessed to be standing in front of you with a ring on my hand," said Dawkins. "So if you're going through something right now, continue to push through that thing so you can get that ring for yourself, whatever it's going to be. Stay blessed by the best. Thank you."
