Clemson (8-0, 6-0 ACC) has opened up as a 47-point home favorite against FCS opponent Wofford (5-2, 4-1 SOCON) on Saturday (4 p.m./ACCN).
The Tigers are coming off a 59-7 destruction of Boston College last Saturday which was the most against the Eagles in the 29-game history between the two schools. Statistically, on the national level, Clemson is fourth overall on offense and fourth on defense. Wofford has been hot of late winning five straight games with a 35-34 overtime win over Chattanooga this past Saturday. They are currently in first place in the Southern Conference showcasing their option attack with five rushers over 200 yards already this season. Clemson would extend their winning streak to an impressive 24 games if they defeated the Terriers on Saturday.
