Clemson capped its ACC tournament run on Thursday with a 7-1 win over No. 7 Louisville and took a big step toward securing an NCAA Tournament bid.
As of Friday afternoon, Clemson holds a top-40 RPI now at No. 38 and Baseball America says the Tigers "should feel safe" about their postseason chances. BA projects Monte Lee's Tigers to the Fayetteville, Arkansas regional with a No. 5 national seed Arkansas. D1Baseball also has Clemson comfortably in and sent to the Starkville, Mississippi regional at projected No. 3 national seed Mississippi State. Clemson will find out its final tournament fate on Monday at noon (ESPNU).
