The College Football Playoff Selection Show announced the four playoff teams on Sunday with Alabama, Clemson, Notre Dame, and Oklahoma making the cut.

ESPN personalities Kirk Herbstreit, Joey Galloway, Jesse Palmer, David Pollack, and Rece Davis discussed the four teams in depth during the show.

The Internet also went wild with discussion as some fans and media talked about the four teams picked and also Clemson's upcoming first Cotton Bowl appearance since 1939.

The CFP committee got it right: 1. Alabama 2. Clemson 3. Notre Dame 4. Oklahoma. Ohio State made strong case closing with Ws over Michigan and Northwestern but bad loss to Purdue. Georgia worthy of discussion but lost twice, to LSU and Bama backup QB. Now, expansion likely looms.
