It was a memorable Monday night as Clemson routed Alabama 44-16 to win their second title in just three seasons.
President Donald Trump took to Twitter after the game to congratulation the Tigers on the big-time win. "Congratulations to a truly great football team, the Clemson Tigers, on an incredible win last night against a powerful Alabama team," he posted. "A big win also for the Great State of South Carolina. Look forward to seeing the team, and their brilliant coach, for the second time at the W.H." The Clemson Football team previously visited the White House back in June of 2017.
