Odell Beckham's emotional letter to Deshaun Watson

by - Assoc. Editor -

Houston Texans rookie Deshaun Watson will be out for the rest of his first NFL season as he tore his ACL and MCL in his right knee during a non-contact drill on Thursday. Before the injury, he was resetting the NFL history books with his play on the field and also bringing together people off-the-field with his charitable endeavors in the city of Houston.

In 2017, Watson has completed 126 out of 204 passes for 1,699 yards with 19 passing touchdowns and 8 interceptions for a passer rating of 103.0.

Star NFL receiver Odel Beckham Jr. knows a thing or two about major injuries as he suffered a devastating ankle injury against the Chargers last month.

"Lil bruh I know at this time things may be scary. Your first year in the league; running for MVP; trying to win a championship, trying to get the spot you deserve, to defy the odds, to do the things they said you can't, and it all gets taken away," Beckham shared via a text to ESPN's Josina Anderson.

"Look back in life to when you faced adversity and thought you would not overcome it, and then you did. As life went on, more and more obstacles came your way that you had to again overcome time and time again, but you got through it somehow. Now life throws you bigger problems and again you're faced with a test.

"Everything is a blessing in disguise. Truly believe that this all happens for a reason. Take this time to evaluate and appreciate everything you've been blessed with. Life's still good, kid. WE LIVINN!! And we will be back better than ever. I'll see you this off-season lil b."
