Georgia secondary takes another hit |
The Georgia secondary depth has taken a big hit this offseason with starting DB Josh Harvey-Clemons serving a one-game suspension and now his backup, Reggie Wilkinson has gone down with a serious knee injury.
Wilkinson was thought to be the starter at nickel-back against Clemson. On his twitter account, he tweeted "Minor setback for a major comeback. #RG3 type-ish."
As relayed by Seth Emerson of the Macon Telegraph, the cornerback suffered what’s reportedly a significant and potentially season-ending knee injury. There was no word on how Wilkinson suffered the injury, although one report states that it occurred during offseason workouts with the team.
