Former Clemson defensive tackle Albert Huggins announced on Twitter that he has signed an undrafted free agent contract with the Houston Texans.

He joins former Tigers in Houston with Deshaun Watson, DeAndre Hopkins, D.J. Reader and Carlos Watkins.

Huggins stepped in as a starter for the College Football Playoff and tallied six of his 30 tackles last season (3.5 for loss/2.5 sacks).

He played 911 snaps over 46 games, posting 83 stops (11.5 for loss) with seven sacks and 25 QB pressures.

Huggins was rated as high as the No. 18 DT by ESPN going into the draft.
