Danny Ford remains a fan of football

Danny Ford doesn’t have much to do with the game of football anymore, other than being an avid fan. And that’s just the way he wants it.

The former Clemson and Arkansas head coach has much better things to do these days, like fishing, golfing and hanging out with his four grandkids.

On Wednesday night, the Bear Bryant disciple spoke to the Hub City Quarterback Club.

“I’m living on a little farm in a small town called Central, South Carolina,” Ford said. “It’s about eight miles from Clemson. I do some speaking here and there and take care of the place. I’m really more active than I ever imagined I’d be.”
