
College Football Playoff unveils final Top 25 |
The College Football Playoff matchups are set and the committee revealed its final CFP Top 25 Sunday.
In case you missed it, No. 2 Clemson will make its first Cotton Bowl appearance since the 1939 season, meeting No. 3 Notre Dame in Arlington, Texas. No. 1 Alabama faces No. 4 Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl. Clemson opponents in Texas A&M (19) and Syracuse (20) each finished in the top-20. UCF finished the highest-ever of any Group of 5 team at No. 8. The SEC led the way with eight top-25 teams, doubling up the next-best Power 5 in the Big 12 and Big Ten (4).
