Colin Cowherd thinks Clemson will 'crush Alabama again' |
FOX College Football analyst Joel Klatt was a guest on 'The Herd' with Colin Cowherd Wednesday and talked college football, including his ridiculous top seven teams.
In order, Klatt had a No. 1 with Ohio State, followed by LSU, Alabama, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Penn State, and finally, Clemson. “I think Clemson’s a really good football team,” Klatt said. “They have not played to their potential. If you put any other emblem out there outside of Clemson or Alabama, and you said ‘Here’s this team and they have come out and played far below expectations and just had a one-point win over a middling team with a first-year head coach.’ Let’s say it’s Ohio State. Let’s say Ohio State this year were to come out, play below expectations, and had a one-point win against Indiana. You’d be crushing them, and rightly so. “So, Clemson comes out and plays below expectations. They might go undefeated. They’re probably going to go to the playoff because of their conference. But to put them or evaluate them outside of what they have actually done is troublesome.” Where do you rank Clemson so far this season?@JoelKlatt breaks down why he finds Clemson’s no. 3 ranking “troublesome” ?? pic.twitter.com/wwF01pnrxI Cowherd had a very different take than Mr. Klatt as he believes that Clemson is the real deal again this season. “They (Clemson) are bored out of their minds," he said. "Clemson is just sitting back here, waiting for Alabama, and they’re going to crush them again.” “Clemson is bored out of their minds. They’re just sitting back here, waiting for Alabama, and they’re going to crush them again.”
