The College Football season is almost here.
Sporting News released their latest 2019 college football bowl projections and had the following teams in the playoff with Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State, and Texas. Yes...you read that right...they have Texas included. According to the projections, the Longhorns will be facing off against Clemson in the playoff semifinal matchup in the Playstation Fiesta Bowl on Dec. 28. Other high profile bowl projections include Notre Dame vs. UCF (Cotton), Syracuse vs. Florida (Orange), Michigan vs. Oregon (Rose), Georgia vs. Oklahoma (Sugar), and Alabama vs. Ohio State (Peach). "The big question is whether anybody other than Clemson or Alabama make their way to the Big Easy for the championship game," Sporting News said. "Georgia, Ohio State, Texas, and Oklahoma are among the teams we believe could be in the hunt for the other two Playoff spots as the sixth College Football Playoff chase begins." The website has a prediction of Clemson vs. Alabama in the title game once again. Clemson's in-state rival South Carolina had a projection in the Walk On's Independence Bowl against Wake Forest.
