Oregon State won the College World Series Thursday by taking 2-of-3 games over Arkansas, moving to No. 1 in the final college baseball polls on Friday.

After a home regional exit, Clemson finished No. 19 in the Baseball America Top 25, which is down from a No. 7 spot going into the NCAA Tournament.

Perfect Game ranked the Tigers No. 12, also dropping from No. 7.

Collegiate Baseball ranked the Tigers No. 17, after having Clemson as high as No. 2 in the polls in late May.

Monte Lee's Tigers earned a national seed for the second time in three seasons but didn't advance out of a home regional for a third-straight year.

Seven Tigers were selected in the MLB draft this June, including a first-round pick in Seth Beer and top-10-round selections in Ryley Gilliam (5th; New York Mets), Ryan Miller (6th; Arizona Diamondbacks) and Chris Williams (8th; Minnesota Twins).
