Clemson ranked No. 1 in latest Coaches Poll, receives more first-place votes |

The latest Amway Coaches Poll was released Sunday and Clemson (3-0, 2-0 ACC) was ranked No. 1 with 1622 total points including 62 first-place votes after their 41-6 road win over Syracuse on Saturday night.
The 62 first-place votes were two more than last week's total (60). Alabama received the remaining three first-place votes and had 1560 points. Virginia joins Clemson from the ACC, which debuted at No. 22. Schools that dropped out of the Top 25 included No. 19 Michigan State, No. 23 Mississippi State, No. 24 Southern California, and No. 25 Maryland.
