Gage Cervenka accepted an invitation to the 2020 East-West Shrine Bowl, according to the game's Twitter account on Thursday. Teammates
Sean Pollard and
Diondre Overton have been previously announced as participants.
Cervenka has started 11 games this season and played over 500 snaps for the nation's No. 3 offense, in an O-line group that ranks No. 5 in sacks allowed (0.91 per game). A converted defensive tackle, Cervenka had the highest grade in ESPN's Impact Rating going into the season (99). The game will be played at 3 p.m. on Jan. 18 in Tampa, Florida (NFL Network/Tropicana Field). Clemson's K'Von Wallace, John Simpson and Tremayne Anchrum are set to play in the Senior Bowl, which will also be carried by the NFL Network on Jan. 25 (2:30 p.m. in Mobile, Al.). ???? @ClemsonFB ????
