Clemson featured in ESPN road trip tour
ESPN reporters Holly Rowe and Maria Taylor made a stop on campus earlier this month to preview the season with a number of Clemson players and coaches for a YouTube show.
"We call him 'Sunshine.' He's got the hair," Bryant said with a smile. "He's been a real good guy. He's a quick learner. You see that, being in the meeting room. He's been a real good guy off the field as well. He's a guy you can hang around and talk to. We crack jokes on each other. That's pretty much been the chemistry in the whole quarterback room.
"We've got guys like Chase Brice and Ben Batson stepping in. Having those guys and that competitive spirit on the field - and then off the field, you're pretty much best buds. It's good to have those guys in the meeting room with you."
Bryant was also asked how he's how handling criticism and using that for motivation in 2018.
"I just try to not focus to much on that," he said. "Because I feel like what I do is enough to get the job done of course. I'm always constantly trying to find ways to improve, but I try not to use (talk) as a bad thing. Try to use it the right way. Put it behind me and go to work. Have that blue-collar mentality...
"A lot of people may say I'm not enough - or I can't do this, but if you continue to work, you just use that and channel that the right way and motivate - you'll be able to do whatever you want to do."
