Alert: Hartwell Lake water levels may rise due to Lake Keowee release

Water will be released from Lake Keowee into Hartwell Lake today to reduce its level after the recent heavy rains. Because the level of Hartwell already is high, there could be some seepage at the two diversion dams near campus due to the water release.

Clemson University emergency officials advise everyone to remain alert to changing water levels that may affect the campus.
