Darren, Spartanburg, SC: What are the Tigers chances in Hawaii?

The team has played very well early on. I don't think you can overlook the two wins over Ohio State and South Carolina. Also, the Tigers played Boston College very tough in Chestnut Hill, the last time I checked BC was ranked number one in the RPI. In saying that, UAB is definitely the toughest test the Tigers will face in Hawaii. Extremely uptempo. Don't be fooled by the loss to Richmond last week, Richmond shot lights out in the second half. UAB is not the same team that made the Sweet 16 last year, but still will be a tough challenge. If the Tigers can win tomorrow night, I would expect them to be favored in the remaining two games.

TJ, Atlanta, GA: What is the deal with Antonio Clay, other sites have said we don't have a shot with him, but you have remained consistent saying the Tigers are a big player with Clay?

In our conversations with Antonio, he has been very genuine in his discussions of Clemson. Clemson is selling the fact that Lawrence Timmons and Jae Thaxton only played special teams at FSU this season. Clay has said numerous times that Clemson reminds him of home, and has always spoken very fondly of Leroy Hill. Hill winning ACC Defensive Player of the Year appeared to be a big factor with Clay. Clay could make a decision over Christmas, but don't be surprised if this battle goes down to signing day.

Brian, Easley, SC: Is Alonzo Higgins headed for Prep or JUCO?

It may change, but it appears that Higgins is headed for JUCO. Higgins will be a dominate player in the near future. If Clemson does place him, they may have their hands full getting him to Clemson once the time comes.

Kelly, Charlotte, NC: Is Clemson finished at the offensive line?

The staff is still waiting on Corey Lambert. They need to keep all four commitments on board. The lone target remaining on the board is Curtis Crouch. Crouch has remained tight lipped on a leader, but we feel the staff has some worked to do to get Crouch on board. Crouch would just be gravy to an already great offensive line class.
