Sports Santa

Dear Sports Santa,

Hope you have had a good year. Hope Mrs. Sports Santa is well. I have been a pretty good sports fan this year. I have not gotten into any fights with opposing fans and I have not booed a player all year.

Every year you have been pretty good to me too. This year you brought me 10 more wins in football. I know I asked for an ACC title, but I understand. You also brought a couple of more ACC championships in women's track. Those were appreciated.

My list this year looks similar to every year in most ways. New York Yankee World Series title, Clemson ACC championships and improvements in facilities are always on the list. BTW-the indoor practice facility at Clemson looks great. Thanks again.

Here goes my list for this year:

Sports Santa this South Carolina football rivalry has gotten out of hand. This is getting embarrassing. Can we do something about that?

A Chic-fil-a Bowl win would be nice but I know that's impossible because they play in the SEC.

Sports Santa can we ask for a great win against Georgia next year? That would send Tigernet into a National Title frenzy.

Hope I am not being too greedy in asking for another double digit win year in football.

A great defensive back coach is on the list this year. It was hard watching the last two years.

Sports Santa I know I have asked for big signing day surprises every year but you have been so good to me. Is it too greedy to ask for Montravius Adams, Tyrone Crowder, Adrian Baker and Ebenezer Ogudeko? Could you throw in a surprise like Carl Lawson, Robert Nkemdiche or MacKensie Alexander?

Speaking of recruiting, can we sign a couple of post players in basketball? I am worried about our future because this staff has had a hard time recruiting post players.

I like the new AD you gave us Sports Santa. Hopefully he will ask for a quicker timetable with the basketball and baseball facilities.

Some of our programs really need help Sports Santa. Can we get a little hope in women's basketball and women's soccer?

Last year I asked for a bunch of big time baseball recruits that looked like Clemson baseball players used to look like. You took care of that for me. Thanks again. Now can I ask that they don't play like freshmen too long?

Sports Santa I love the new video boards in Death Valley. The baseball and soccer ones are great too. Now can I get more stats and more scores on the boards? Thanks.

Coach Johnson seems to be getting closer, can I ask for a national championship for the women's track program yet or is that something to ask for next year?

I love the new Larry Penley golf building. Sports Santa its a big building, so I think there is room for another national title in there.

I am excited about the women's golf program this coming year Sports Santa. Thanks for the great coach and heralded prospects.

was a lot more exciting than the sophomore version. Can we get back our superstar?

to come back one more year? If Tajh comes back can we reward him with a trip to New York for next year's Heisman ceremony?

. He has been a breath of fresh air that has reminded us of what a real hero looks like.

Thanks for everything!
