Raleigh, NC-Former Clemson golfers Lucas Glover, Kevin Johnson and
Charles Warren all finished in the top 17 at the SAS Carolina Classic
in Raleigh on Sunday. The Nationwide Tour event was held at the par
71 TPC at Wakefield Plantation in Raleigh, NC.

Glover led the former Tiger contingent with a fourth-place
finish. He had scores of 67 and 66 over his final two rounds to
finish at 271, 13-under-par. He was three shots short of champion
Dave Morland, who had a four-day total of 268. It was the best
tournament finish of the year for Glover, a Greenville native who
was a senior on Clemson's second ranked team of 2001. He had
tournament best 23 birdies (including each of the last three holes).
It was his third top 10 finish this year and his fifth straight made
cut.

Johnson finished ninth overall with a 272 score after rounds
of 64-71-68- 69. His final round included birdies on his last four
holes of the day. It was the second best finish of the year for
Johnson, an All-American at Clemson between 1985-89. He had a third
place finish at the Clearwater Classic in New Zealand earlier in the
year.

Charles Warren had a final round 68 that included a
hole-in-one on the seventh hole. He had rounds of 66-71-69 and 68 to
finish at 10-under-par 274. It was the second straight 17th-place
finish for the only Clemson golfer in history to win the NCAA
Championship.
