Scouting Marion Dukes and Noah Whiteside |
TigerNet traveled to Greenville on Friday night
to catch two of the brightest high school stars in action. Pickens' Marion
Dukes and Greenville's Noah Whiteside were leading their teams against
division foes. Pickens faced Berea while Greenville took on Wade Hampton.
Dukes is
a recent Clemson commitment and Whiteside is being pursued by nearly every
college in the country. Dukes committed to the Tigers this week so he could
concentrate on his senior season. Whiteside would be a catch for any team as
well. As a junior he caught 69 passes for 1393 yards and 16 touchdowns. On
Friday night he had a catch in the first quarter that led to a Greenville TD
and then followed that up with an interception on Wade Hampton's next drive.
