Who were your player hosts and what were your impressions of your weekend visit? "I had two hosts, John Leake and Tommy Sharpe. I have been there before and kinda been shown around and looked at everything. It’s really just a great place and all the players are great guys and the coaches are great guys." What’s your current height and weight? "6-3, 270." What do you bench? "280lbs" Are any other schools still recruiting you? "They’ve all backed off." Who did you receive offers from? "SMU, TCU, Univ of La. Laffayette and Tulane." How did Clemson find you? "They were here two years ago recruiting a friend of mine." How do the coaches see you fitting in? "They say I’ll play guard and center." Where do they see you fitting in this season? "I should be redshirting." Are you involved in any other sports? "Power lifting." Are your academics in order? "Yes." What would you say are your strengths? "My quickess." What would you say you need to work on? "My strength." Which coaches and players did you talk to during the weekend? "I knew coach West pretty good because I had talked to him a couple of times when I was down there. I hung out with different ones here and there." How were the buffets during the visit? "They were good." When did you start playing football? "I started playing in the fifth grade. In middle school I was a tight end and linebacker. My freshman year I was a defensive lineman and offensive lineman." How did the team do this year? "Pretty good. 7-4. We made it to the second round." Clemson has rarely signed players from west of the Mississippi. What was it that sold you on Clemson? "Really I just thought Clemson is a great school sports wise and academic wise."
