Visits w/ player comments:

Clemson 1/10 - "Basically they are a state school, and I wanted to give

all the state schools a chance to recruit me.  They have a great defense

and they played real well this year.  My cousin J.J. McKelvey goes there

and plays wide receiver.  I've always liked Clemson, and I like the

colors and everything."

South Carolina 1/17 - "We run the same defense at our high school and I

know almost everyone there.  I either played against them or played with

them on the same team like Jabari Levey my cousin.  It's like a hometown

team to me."

Ohio State 1/24 - "At first when they started recruiting me I was

interested but they were not doing too good the last couple of years.

Then all of sudden they changed it around and everything. When I talked to the

coaches they said a lot of the linebackers were leaving and that really helped

me get interested in them."

Florida (?) -  "I've always loved the Gators.  They have a real good

team.  My mom likes them too so I have to give them a chance since my mom

likes them."

Leaders:

"Right now I would probably say South Carolina."

Tell us about the injuries.

"At first I played my freshman year and I played the whole year and it

was good.  I won top freshman in the state.  Then my sophomore year I

hurt it (ankle) in the first game.  Then I came back my junior year and

played the first four games and I have great games.  In the first four

games I totaled like 56 tackles.  Then I hurt it again and I came back for

the last two games but I couldn't really do anything.  So I am a senior

now.  I played the whole year and I had a great year. "

What was the exact injury?

"Chronic ankle sprain or broken ankle.  It was on the same one in

the same spot."

AUDIO INTERVIEW

Listen to the full interview with Mickey Plyler here.

What are some of your strengths as a linebacker?

"I can stunt real well and I can get to the quarterback. I can drop

into zones and make interceptions.  Basically I would say I am a big play

linebacker.  I make the big play and stuff like that."

What are the factors that will come into your decision?

"First off it will be academics, whether my mom likes the school or not and

last but not least if I am going to like it there and I am going to be able to

fit in with the players and get playing time."
