Depth Chart Changes

Braxton Williams has been moved to SLB replacing Altroy Bodrick, who was lost for the season on Saturday with a torn ACL. John Leake has been elevated to starting star safety, taking Williams' place. Mo Fountain is now second team DE behind Khaleed Vaughan. Fountain takes the place of David Ellis, who left the team last week leaving the Tigers now with two true freshman in the two deep defensive roster.

Marcus Houskin is now the first-team free safety. He and Eric Meekins had been listed as co-first team. Also, Morgan Woodward, who sprained his knee on Saturday was held out of practice.

Herring Update

Defensive coordinator Reggie Herring will have surgery to repair his Achilles tendon on Wednesday. He will be in a cast for 4-6 weeks. Herring said he will still coach from the sideline on game days with crutches probably and rest in between series. Herring also said that this injury is just an inconvenience and will not become a distraction for him or the players.
