was back on the Clemson campus Monday afternoon, and this time he was joined by his parents.

The state’s top offensive tackle prospect, Leamon, camped at Clemson for three days last week, but wanted to get his parents in for a visit.

The 6-6, 260-pounder out of Woodruff said the day started with the Clemson coaching staff.

“First, we talked with all of the coaches on the staff, and then we went to Vickery Hall,” Leamon told TigerNet. “We talked to Cheech {Wayne Coffman in the Academic Advisory Department] for a long time, because my dad is big on academics. We left there and went back to the West Zone, and I talked to [offensive line coach Robbie] Coach Caldwell and we looked at my highlight tape. I had seen everything in Clemson, but I wanted my parents to see all of it.”

Leamon said his parents spent a good deal of time talking with Swinney, and then Swinney had a special message for Leamon himself.

“My parents talked with him awhile, and they told him they liked what they saw,” he said. “He told me that he wanted me up there, and he told me about the academics and how when you are a freshman there is a tutor required for every class. He was also telling me about how my number [50] is saved, but he wasn’t going to save it for long.”

Leamon said he still expects to wait until National Signing Day to make a decision.

“Clemson, Auburn, South Carolina and Tennessee are really my favorites right now,” he said. “I plan on taking some more visits.”
