CLEMSON -- Clemson kicker Jad Dean came through in the clutch for the Tigers to earn this week's USATODAY.com Player of the Week honor.

The junior made all six of his field goal attempts, including the game-winner against No. 17 Texas A&M with two seconds left. Dean won the award on the strength of the fan voting and the ballot of college football editor Erick Smith. Gannett News Service columnist Mike Lopresti cast his vote for Georgia quarterback D.J. Shockley.
