RUN DEFENSE
After a slow start last week, the front seven put a clamp on Miami's Frank Gore and, by extension, shut down the Hurricane offense. They, too, are getting better every week.

Justin Miller has settled down after a bumpy start to the season, and Tye Hill has been consistent. Right now the secondary is playing the way it was hyped in the preseason.

Jad Dean missed his final three field goal attempts last week, but his run on the fake punt vs. Miami was the signature play of the game. Miller could have a big day if the Blue Devils kick the ball his way.

Sorry Clemson fans. No reverse mojo this week. There's no way I can pick Duke to win. Although, despite giving the Tigers every category above, there's always a chance the team can struggle in Wallace Wade. Clemson is just 13-11 all-time at Duke.
