CLEMSON FOOTBALL

Clemson at Duke Blackout Lifted

by -

Clemson, SC - The Clemson vs. Duke football game in Durham on Saturday, November 3 will be televised live in 50 states over ESPN Gameplan.

Originally, it was announced that there would be black-out in an eight state territory, but through the efforts of CSS, and with the cooperation of ESPN and the Atlantic Coast Conference Office, the eight-state black-out was lifted Friday morning for local cable affiliates. In regard to those subscribers of Direct Broadcast Satellite (Directv and Dish Network), it is recommended that each subscriber contact the customer service department for the provider to assure the game will be available.

The game will be produced by CSS and commentary will be provided by Fred Cunningham (play by play) and Jim Bundren (color). Bundren is a former Clemson All-America offensive tackle who played for the Tigers from 1994-97. CSS will provide a replay of the game on its Comcast Corporation and Charter Communications affiliates on Wednesday at 9:00 PM Eastern, but the CSS affiliates will not broadcast the game live.

The game will not be available on ACC Select.

CSS is a partnership between Comcast Corporation and Charter Communications, the nation's largest and third-largest broadband communications companies. CSS has more collegiate sports coverage than any other regional sports network in the country, reaching 5.8 million households across 12 states.
