Alright, top 3 toughest games next year.. Go!

Posted: Jan 16, 2019 2:54 PM

1. Syracuse
2. TexAM
3. @ SCar

We know 2 and 3, Syracuse loses Dungy but 2nd string RS Jr. Devito was #8 pocket passer QB and #130 overall prospect by ESPN out of high school. I give Syracuse the edge here because of Dino as head coach has schemed well against us and the fact that the TexAM game is the week prior.
Syracuse opens with Liberty and travels to Maryland (who beat Tex each of the last 2 seasons) before coming to Clemson.

Whatchya got?

a&m by far will be the #1 toughest game.

SC, State, Cuse all battle for 2&3

Crazy thing..

Clemson's 2nd closest game could be a 28 point win.

1. TAM
2. SYRACUSE
3. NCS
One and two about a toss up. Scar loses Deebo so not too sure they will have much left.

Not sure what State has coming back. Lose their qb, lost their RB and DL

two years ago.
Conversely, at SCar with better QB play and 2 5* DL will pose a challenge even if folks don't like to acknowledge it because they're our rival.

1.Tex A&M
2.Playoff 2
3.Playoff 1

I put them in that order cause by the time playoffs comes around we will be hitting on all cylinders and no one stays close!

1. Cuse, only because it is right after the Texas AM game
2. Texas AM
3. FSU, They finally got a good OC

2020 student level member

Objectively, it's probably NOT Cuse, but given the way

[2]
Posted: Jan 16, 2019 3:01 PM

they've played us the last two years it still feels like at Cuse is the right answer.

Coot game only included because the team

will have to avoid flying bottles so many times in the end zone.

know much about what they have coming back.

They lose a good bit, but Doreen has them cycling up

They lose Finley and Meyers so the O will take a hit. Who else on our schedule is better? FSU maybe gets it together finally. FSU is by far the most talented start wise

2020 orange level memberbadge-donor-10yr.jpg

coots? COOTS?!?! Naw. 1) TAMU 2) SYR 3) FSU

Really, only the first 2 truly scare me. TAMU will be a very tough out. And Syracuse up there, playing dirty, trying to pop TLaw, could be a challenge (it WILL be hot that early in the season in the non-conditioned dome). I put FSU ahead of the coots because of the sheer volume of 5* talent and depth there. Not sure what they're doing with their OLine. coots will be a cinch. TLaw will light them up and our D will have something to prove after this year's debacle (don't hate on me Dabo).

And seriously, those first three games are not an easy draw. Not at all.

GT because it won't start till 8pm. ..I wont home till fricken 1am.

Tex aM cause it will likely also be at night. If gameday shows up.. all the fair weather fans will create more traffic for me.

The rest of the home games will probably be nooners so I shouldn't have any troubles. Thanks for ask8ng.

A&M, FSU, Cuse, BC, and u of 5c...

Posted: Jan 16, 2019 3:33 PM

Might even put NC State ahead of the Capons.

Texas A&M, Alabama, Ohio state.

Nice projection... I'm thinking roughly the same.***

The teams biggest challenge will be getting ready for the next game after blowing the previous team out. Dabo will have the boys ready and I expect our closest game to come against the playoff teams. Those teams may be able to stay within 28 points but highly unlikely.

ACC Championship, CFB Playoff Semifinal and the Natty

though we win them all by 14+ points each.

Next question?

1. Texas A&M
2. USCjr
3. Georgia Tech or Syracuse

1. Jimbo know us and they'll be the most talented team we play by far. (Saving grace is it's in the Valley though)
2. Only reason USCjr is #2 is because the $EC gave them a bye week before they play while we have to go up and play Wake Forest that week ($EC gotta give the coots some chance even though a bye week second to last week of the season is unheard of.
3. Can't really decide #3 history would say Syracuse because it's on the road and considering last two years were be close (However losing Eric Dungy will really hurt them). Georgia Tech is sneaky because it's the first game of the season on a Thursday night and they got a new coach so we have no idea what kind of offense they're going to run (with no film).

Texas A+M
Boston College
Fla State-I refuse to believe with all that talent that they can continue to be that bad.

I believe Fla St. is going to the usual coaching recycle thing like Florida, Texas, USC etc. did. They will be back at some point but could take a while. I don't see it at all with their current coach and probably not the coach after either

#1. Texas A&M

#2. Syracuse (Dome) pray for cooler weather in New York

#3. UofSoCa (Usuck) - They don't want a sixth straight loss, because we will get the seventh the next year so look out, especially if a bowl game depends upon a win in this game. Hope their schedule kills any momentum.

Alternate: BC - well coached, tough out.

FSU is a real question mark as to who shows up.

1. TA&M (*probably Dadgum noon game)
2. NC game
3. None

*Switch 1&2 if not noon game

Go Tigers..........

here you go and FYI we go to SU not the other way around

1)TAM BY FAR
2)BC
3)UCS/SU
4)FSU
5)NCSU

the rest are pretty irrelevant

You heard it here first.

Syracuse...
Don't expect another 10 win season from them in 2019.
They remind me of Lville a couple years back with LJ.
I could see the Orangemen losing as many as 5 games in
2019.

Just curious. Why do some of you list USuC ? They lost half their starters on both sides of the ball. Offensive line will be pitiful.

TAMU, but nobody else will show up.

Dungey is gone at SU, and they are NOT any good without him.
Deebo is gone at UofSuc, and they are NOT any good without him.

I just do not see any team that will do very well against CLEMSON. Possibly FSU, since I think Art Briles kid is their new OC, so maybe they might show up sometime in the future. But, probably not.

Since you want 3, maybe
#1 - TAMU
#2 - Wake
#3 - BC
