Tyler Brown analogy with former college players.

There are players that ###### the ball out of the air with their hands and there are players that catch the ball with their body. The best Clemson player I remember snatching the ball was always Sammy. Nuk was great at catching ball with hands as well but his ability to catch contested balls was elite. Kind of opposite to this analogy was Martavious Bryant. Whike he was fast, he always used his body to catch the ball which caused some dropped balls.

Sammy being bigger and probably touch stronger with body due to size, I see a lot of similar aspects with TB.

The other player TB kind of reminds me of is Amari Cooper. Good strong hands, knows how to get open, has speed but TB just a little smaller. But we have seen several Bama players in that 6' height range that excel with speed, route running and durability seems better than tall lanky WRs.

Several mentioned comparisons to A. Scott and A. Rodgers. I see TB closer to Scott and better than Rodgers, faster but probably not quite as strong.

I think we have missed on several tall WRs in recent yrs and not every 6'3 & 215lb WR is going to be Ross or Mike Williams. I think we need some that size but I see the A. Williams and TB's, hopefully Tink, as fitting the GR playcalling better using their YAC.

Mike Williams was a snatcher extraordinaire.

Nuk catches the ball like a basketball player, it’s why his hands are and were elite.

Murray said Hopkins' gloves are XXXL and he has to cut them to make them fit.

big hands , and soft and strong, but all the coaches say he has huge hands, biggest they have seen, for a guy his size

Interesting you can type "snatching" and "snatcher"

but not the base word without the inflectional endings "ing" and "er".

snatch

Let's use it in a sentence?

There are players that snatch the ball out of the air with their hands and there are players that catch the ball with their body.

Maybe the Enforcement Committee does not like "Snatching" but is more inclined to like richards.

Brown seems to have a great sense of positioning himself to make catches .... even when he is closely guarded.

Hang in there with him. After all, he is a freshman who has only played five college games in his life.

He may improve!

100 yards this week (my prediction)
