fans since i been watching college sports have always screamed, KEEP POLITICS OUT OF COLLEGE SPORTS!...
yet that's exactly what we get...we have no choice...like it or not this will be a photo op for the president.
this should be one thing...a photo op for the 2 teams who worked their ##### off to play for the tile.........
politicians dont give a crap about USING sports event for their own campaigns.....
they assume they have the right to USE college atheletes PRIME TIME..
this is about LSU and Clemson.....
this old fan says keep politicians OUT of college sports....

Will be curious to see how this impacts us getting into the stadium. I think I remember at the Atlanta game you had to be in the stadium two hours before kickoff.

It took 2 to get into Ray Jay. That actually made us glad we couldn't find the BBQ place where we had planned to pick up our tailgate & just went into the stadium early. The Superdome seems better prepared in terms of security though.

He's using his business sense. Trump will get to see a great game plus save the country and winner money. After the game, Trump will just have a few bags of burgers and fries delivered to the winning Tigers locker room, go shake a few hands, pat a few backs and fly back to Washington.
That will save the team $s because they don't have to take a trip to Washington and it saves the White House $s from all the extra security needed for a team visit. Win - Win for all!

The only reasons why I think he should not go is due to costs, security, and traffic. On the other hand, maybe he is going for political reasons with a rally the next day or something.
